PepsiCo to End Warehouse Operations at Tulsa Production Facility, Relocate Duties to New Site

The company will move warehouse duties to a new site in the Tulsa area while production continues at the existing facility. PepsiCo will discontinue warehouse operations at its Pepsi Beverages production facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and transfer those responsibilities to a new location within the Tulsa area, a company spokesperson confirmed to Supply Chain Dive via email. Production activities at the existing facility will remain unaffected.
According to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice filed on July 14, the facility's 184 warehouse employees will face permanent layoffs, with warehouse operations scheduled to cease on November 15. All affected employees have been notified and are being informed about alternative job openings within the company.
